The DateSelect Control contains a number of constituent controls. This
imposes a limitation on how far the appearance of the control can be
customized. Yet, a number of Properties are available that you could
use to enhance the appearance of the control. Most of these properties
actually apply to the constituent controls. Here are some examples of
how the appearance of control can be enhanced.

DateSelect Appearance related Properties.
Resizing DateSelect
The width of the control can be resized. All constituent controls resize
themselves when you change the width of the control, to adjust the layout.
The height can't be resized, and it depends on the Font assigned to
the control. Depending on the Font size, all constituent control changes
their height, and the DateSelect adjusts its height to acommodate the
constituent controls.
